It was a fun week for the Pioneer Pipeline. The students and mentors did a lot of fun activities around campus and in the community. On Tuesday, Stella organized an opportunity for the kids to visit Marietta College music education department. The students got the opportunity to play various instruments. The students got meet some new friends and learn a little about music. It was a positive experience for the kids. The kids also got to take a trip to Giant Eagle and McDonald’s this week. Ashton, Anna, and Josie got to pick up some supplies for the class picnic by the river. After getting the supplies the class and staff walked downtown to have a picnic by the river. It was a beautiful day for a picnic and the kids really enjoyed it. Mr. Rick made all the kids sandwiches and organized the event. As always the kids enjoyed spending time in the recreation center walking the track and riding the stationary bicycles. Lauren had a new task to complete at her job at Giant Eagle. She has to take supplies out of boxes and put them on the shelves in the correct aisle. We are very proud of her hard work she did this week. Here are some pictures of our eventful week.
