April 2016
It has been a very busy month for the Pioneer Pipeline Program. The program had their end of the year banquet to celebrate the students’ accomplishments this year. The mentors and students presented to their parents, Marietta College Education Staff, and the rest of their friends. It was an amazing night to appreciate all of the hard work of everyone involved in the program. The seniors also attended another banquet the following day at the Blennerhassett Hotel. Seniors attended the etiquette lunch to learn about proper etiquette while eating in a formal setting. The rest of the class were on campus to be guest speakers to Dr. Bauer’s Diverse Learners Class. Even though the end of the year is quickly approaching mentors and students are still doing various activities around the community and campus. Breakfasts at McDonald’s, Bob Evans, Campus Café, and Tim Horton’s has become a regular event. No amount of words or pictures can describe the impact the mentors have had on our students’ lives. It has been an extremely successful school year. However, it is not over! The class still has their field trip to the Columbus Zoo and Graduation! Here are some pictures of our class for the month of April.

Social: The students finished up another successful year, creating more than one memorable moment with peers and mentors alike, but more importantly they spent the month of April in the company of friends.
