Our goal in Occupational Therapy was to complete 100 fundraiser bags total. Each student was in charge of filling all ten of their bags with twenty pieces of each item: marshmallows (ghost poop), cinnamon toast crunch (monster scabs), candy corn (jack o'lantern teeth), and chocolate chips (witches nose). The students successfully completed Phase 2 of the fundraiser - counting, separating and sorting the items into their own bags. With the little time they had left before lunch, they began Phase 3 - decorating the bags with color paper, sticks, stamps and adding the "Witches Stew" ingredients on the front. The students were extremely proud of themselves and their ability to work together as a team.
Students had the opportunity to have lunch with their mentors, and spend time with them for the remainder of the day. Below are a few shots from those who were at the DBRC this afternoon.
